IGGY SONG

About

I'm Iggy Song — a Vancouver-based photographer and visual creator with a relentless passion for storytelling, capturing dynamic narratives for brands and individuals across North America.

STORY

It started when I was five, playing with the camera my father bought to record my childhood. What began as a toy quickly turned into my primary lens for experiencing the world, leading to a Gold Award in photography at the Seoul Institute of the Arts' Dongrang Youth Arts Festival in 1995.

By my twenties, I was chasing high-speed action trackside as a motorsports photographer for Touring and F3 series, honing an instinct for split-second timing. After earning my degree in Photography from Sangmyung University in 2003, I embraced a fluid path—balancing freelance creative work and tech support before relocating to Canada in 2005.

In Vancouver, my creative drive merged with technical mastery: I built my photography career while working as a certified Apple technician, mastering both the artistic and technical sides of the digital landscape. Since 2018, I've been fully dedicated to my craft, bringing decades of diverse experience, speed, and precision to every frame.

Today, real estate photography sits at the heart of my practice — through iVisualWorks, I help realtors, interior designers, and rental owners turn properties into stories that sell. But my work never stays fixed to one subject: each project brings its own world, from still life and automotive shoots to custom framing. I follow where the work leads.

APPROACH

I thrive in motion. Whether directing a fast-paced commercial shoot or capturing subtle, fleeting moments, I view every project as an active collaboration built on energy, clarity, and technical skill.

My work bridges commercial craftsmanship and genuine storytelling — designed to feel vibrant, authentic, and alive.

A great image doesn't just hold your attention. It moves you.
